Privacy Policy
How we handle your data (short version: we don't collect any).
Last updated: April 2, 2026
Overview
HTML Code Runner is a client-side tool. Your code is executed entirely within your browser and is never transmitted to any server. We prioritize your privacy above all else.
Data We Collect
We do not collect personally identifiable information. Specifically:
- We do not collect your name, email, or any personal information through the tool
- We do not store the code you write in the editor
- We do not use cookies for tracking purposes
- We do not sell or share any data with third parties
How the Tool Works
When you write HTML code in the editor and click Run, the code is injected into a sandboxed iframe element within your browser. The entire process happens client-side. No network requests are made to process or store your code.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand overall traffic patterns (such as page views and general geographic regions). These analytics do not track individual users, do not use cookies, and do not collect personal information.
Cookies
This site does not use tracking cookies. We may use strictly necessary cookies for site functionality (such as remembering your language preference) if applicable.
Third-Party Services
We load fonts from Google Fonts. Google's privacy policy applies to that service. No other third-party services are used in the tool itself.
Contact Page
If you choose to contact us through the contact form, the information you provide (name, email, message) will only be used to respond to your inquiry. We will never add you to a mailing list or share your information.
Children's Privacy
This tool is designed for general audiences including students. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
